Send outcome letters, or close with no award
Review, edit and send letters to every bidder.
Updated 7 October 2026
Letters to bidders
After the award is approved, draft letters are prepared for every bidder under Letters to bidders.
- Edit the letter and press Save.
- Press Send letter, then confirm.
Once sent a letter can't be edited or recalled. It is recorded in the audit trail, and you'll get a notification when the bidder opens it. Use Resend letter if needed.
Close with no award
If no bid is acceptable, or the requirement has gone away, press Close with no award and give a reason. Draft letters are prepared for every bidder for you to review and send. This cannot be undone.
